Summer Games University is a camp that exists to share the good news of Jesus Christ.   We seek to know only “Jesus Christ, and him  crucified
(1 Corinthians 2:2).

We see ourselves squarely in the center of the classical Christian tradition, and so we welcome all people, regardless of their church tradition. We are ecumenical in outreach but we are also Wesleyan in conviction. This means that, in all things, we strive to represent nothing other than the convictions that are common to all Christians. However, we can’t help but come at those convictions with a Wesleyan flavor, which means we emphasize the role of grace to transform people and the importance of growing in that grace through a lifetime of discipleship and sanctification.

Within the camp, we do not debate finer points of theology or other denominational differences. Our goal and reason for existing is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ for the purposes of life transformation. We are an evangelistic camp. It is our aim to present the gospel to campers and then send them home for further equipping and discipleship.

Whether you come from a Wesleyan background or not, you are welcome to be a part of Summer Games.
